Today we will tell you how to get a student subscription to GitHub, which gives access to the text editor Atom, AWS Educate-a resource from Amazon for learning in the field of cloud technologies, as well as access to products from JetBrains, etc.

First you need to create an account on [GitHub] (https://github.com).

Then go to link. This page provides detailed information about the products. After reviewing, click “Get your pack”.

Next, the registration page opens. Here you need to enter your name, confirm that you are a student, specify the school, year of graduation, and what you will use the products for. There are several ways to confirm that you are a student:

  • Use the e-mail address of the educational institution;
  • Upload a document that confirms that you are a student (student card).
  • Use ISIC (how to make it, we tell here).

We will use the University e-mail.

Click “Submit request”. After that, you will receive a confirmation email.

To make sure that you have access, click on the link and see that all products are now available.
